And Shelomoh slaughtered slaughterings of peace offerings, which he slaughtered to יהוה, twenty-two thousand bulls and one hundred and twenty thousand sheep. Thus the sovereign and all the children of Yisra’ĕl dedicated the House of יהוה.


that יהוה appeared to Shelomoh the second time, as He had appeared to him at Gib‛on.


and Tsaḏoq the priest and his brothers the priests, before the Dwelling Place of יהוה at the high place that was at Giḇ‛on,


for the Dwelling Place of יהוה and the slaughter-place of the ascending offering, which Mosheh had made in the wilderness, were at that time at the high place in Giḇ‛on.


And Shelomoh spoke to all Yisra’ĕl, to the commanders of the thousands and of the hundreds, to the judges, and to every leader in all Yisra’ĕl, the heads of the fathers’ houses.


And Shelomoh, and all the assembly with him, went to the high place that was at Giḇ‛on, for Elohim’s Tent of Appointment was there, which Mosheh the servant of יהוה had made in the wilderness.


For Ḥizqiyahu sovereign of Yehuḏah presented to the assembly a thousand bulls and seven thousand sheep, and the rulers presented to the assembly a thousand bulls and ten thousand sheep. And a great number of priests set themselves apart.


And Sovereign Shelomoh slaughtered a slaughtering of twenty-two thousand bulls and one hundred and twenty thousand sheep. Thus the sovereign and all the people dedicated the House of Elohim.


And Leḇanon is not enough to burn, nor its beasts enough for an ascending offering.


And it came to be in that year, at the beginning of the reign of Tsiḏqiyah sovereign of Yehuḏah, in the fourth year and in the fifth new moon, that Ḥananyah son of Azzur the prophet, who was from Giḇ‛on, spoke to me in the House of יהוה in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,


that they feared greatly, because Giḇ‛on was a great city, as one of the royal cities, and because it was greater than Ai, and all its men were mighty.


And the cities for the tribe of the children of Binyamin, for their clans, were Yeriḥo, and Bĕyth Ḥoḡlah, and Ěmeq Qetsits,


And the inhabitants of Giḇ‛on heard what Yehoshua had done to Yeriḥo and Ai,


And Sha’ul said, “Bring an ascending offering and peace offerings here to me.” And he offered the ascending offering.
