Wine is a scoffer, strong drink a brawler, And whoever is led astray by it is not wise.


Woe to the mighty to drink wine, and brave men to mix strong drink,


“See, they shall indeed assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever shall assemble against you falls for your sake!


“Whoring, and wine, and new wine enslave the heart.


Therefore they shall now go into exile, with the first of the exiles, and the feasting of the stretched-out ones shall cease!
