Then he said to him, “Because you have not obeyed the voice of יהוה, see, as soon as you leave me a lion shall strike you.” And when he left him, a lion found him and struck him.
And he turned around and looked at them, and pronounced a curse on them in the Name of יהוה. And two female bears came out of the forest and tore to pieces forty-two of the youths.
The lazy one says: “There is a lion outside!” “I am going to be murdered in the streets!”
The lazy one says, “There is a lion in the way! A fierce lion is in the streets!”
as when a man flees from a lion, and a bear shall meet him; or entered his house, rested his hand on the wall, and a serpent shall bite him.
