And Dawiḏ took from him one thousand chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand foot soldiers. And Dawiḏ also hamstrung all the chariot horses, but left of them for one hundred chariots.
and Dawiḏ stationed men in Aram of Darmeseq, and the Arameans became Dawiḏ’s servants, and brought presents. And יהוה saved Dawiḏ wherever he went.
