And the wrath of יהוה burned against Uzzah, and Elohim struck him there for the fault. And he died there by the ark of Elohim.
And Dawiḏ was afraid of יהוה on that day, and said, “How shall the ark of יהוה come to me?”
Then the wrath of יהוה burned against Uzza, and He struck him because he put his hand to the ark. And he died there before Elohim.
And Dawiḏ was afraid of Elohim that day, saying, “How shall I bring the ark of Elohim to me?”
“Because you did not do it the first time, יהוה our Elohim broke out against us, because we did not ask Him about the right-ruling.”
And let the priests who come near יהוה set themselves apart too, lest יהוה break out against them.
And Elohim said to Yonah, “Have you rightly become displeased over the plant?” And he said, “I have rightly become displeased, even to death!”
And He buried him in a valley in the land of Mo’aḇ, opposite Bĕyth Pe‛or, and no one knows his burial-place to this day.
Yehoshua also set up twelve stones in the midst of the Yardĕn, in the place where the feet of the priests who bore the ark of the covenant stood. And they are there to this day.
