After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, “Fear not, Abram, I am your shield; your reward shall be very great.”
And Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold. The Lord blessed him,
For you had little before I came, and it has increased abundantly; and the Lord has blessed you wherever I turned. But now when shall I provide for my own household also?”
Thus the man grew exceedingly rich, and had large flocks, maidservants and menservants, and camels and asses.
From the time that he made him overseer in his house and over all that he had the Lord blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; the blessing of the Lord was upon all that he had, in house and field.

The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.
He digged it and cleared it of stones, and planted it with choice vines; he built a watchtower in the midst of it, and hewed out a wine vat in it; and he looked for it to yield grapes, but it yielded wild grapes.
And now I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard. I will remove its hedge, and it shall be devoured; I will break down its wall, and it shall be trampled down.
For I will be to her a wall of fire round about, says the Lord, and I will be the glory within her.’ ”
For thus said the Lord of hosts, after his glory sent me to the nations who plundered you, for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye:
Bless, O Lord, his substance, and accept the work of his hands; crush the loins of his adversaries, of those that hate him, that they rise not again.”
