Then they all deserted him and ran away.

After this, Jesus revealed  himself again to his disciples by the Sea of Tiberias.  , He revealed himself in this way:


and he appeared for many days to those who came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are now his witnesses to the people.


and that he appeared to Cephas,  then to the Twelve.


As a result, you should instead forgive  and comfort him. Otherwise, he may be overwhelmed by excessive grief.
