Answer
The imminent arrival of the rapture requires us all to ensure our preparedness. Getting ready for the rapture is simpler than you might imagine. Essentially, you must accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. The rapture is specifically for believers.
A precise prophecy about the rapture of the church is found in the following passage: “According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words” (1 Thessalonians 4:15-18). It is important to note that Paul addresses believers regarding those who are “in Christ” and therefore have the assurance of resurrection. Those who are saved are prepared for the rapture.
Those who are not saved are unprepared for the rapture. Indeed, the day of the Lord (which commences with the rapture) will catch the unsaved off guard “like a thief in the night” «For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. », (1 Thessalonians 5:2). Those who remain after the rapture will be individuals who do not have the Spirit of Christ residing in them. Believers are prepared: “You, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief” «But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. », (1 Thessalonians 5:4).
The children of God are prepared for the rapture because of their faith. They resemble the five wise virgins in Jesus’ parable who have their lamps trimmed, burning, and filled with oil—a representation of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 25:1-13). Regrettably, faith will be absent in most individuals on earth; the period before Jesus’ arrival will be marked by spiritual coldness and disbelief. Jesus mentioned His return and inquired, rhetorically, “When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” «I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? », (Luke 18:8).
Are you prepared for the rapture? Jesus recognizes His own, and He will come for them (John 10:14;John 14:1-3). The only way you will be left behind in the rapture is if you have not accepted Christ as your Savior. If you are not saved, then today is the day of salvation «(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, And in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) », (2 Corinthians 6:2). Do not postpone any longer. Trust in Christ now.
