NBA star launches ‘Judah 1’ basketball shoes with powerful biblical verse

Orlando Magic player Jonathan Isaac unveiled his new line of shoes Thursday called “Judah 1,” with Bible verses.

The new shoe “reminds you that no matter what they say, no matter the score, victory is yours through Christ,” states Christian brand UNITUS about the new item.

The author of “Why I Stand” , whose middle name is Judah, was inspired to launch the shoe for others after his pastor gave him the idea.

The “Triumph” version of Judah 1 has the Bible verse, 2 Corinthians 4:9, which reads, in part, “…persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.”

“This one is specifically about me playing basketball and getting back from an injury and have it to be an Orlando colorway I think is super important,” Isaac said.

“I can look down and continue to keep faith, continue to keep belief, and keep moving forward,” he added.

Isaac was the only NBA player not to kneel in 2020 for the National Anthem during the Black Lives Matter demonstrations.

Most people see the “Judah 1” as an outlandish endeavor.. shoot, when we first started, so did I ????????‍♂️

I was afraid that delivering a sneaker that represented our values without compromising style or performance was too tall a task.. ‼️
