‘It Was Like The Apocalypse’ The survivors of the most serious earthquake Turkey has experienced speak

The terrible earthquake that hit Turkey, from which the number of fatalities continues to grow, has left a large number of injured and homeless due to landslides, they are the ones who are telling their stories.

‘It Was Like The Apocalypse’ The survivors of the most serious earthquake Turkey has experienced speak.

Buildings falling before the eyes of the residents, children emerging from the rubble and lights in the sky at the time of the earthquake was only part of the horror that this nation is experiencing now. The weather conditions are not very favorable either, which has not helped experts carry out an effective rescue due to the winter and rain.

A mother from southeastern Turkey said that of her nine children, two are still in the rubble, and that she is waiting for them.

“We were shaken like a cradle. There were nine of us at home. Two sons of mine are still in the rubble, I’m waiting for them,” she said of the place where she lived, a seven-story block, of which nothing was left, while she tried to care for her injured arm.

“It was like the Apocalypse. It’s terribly cold and it rains a lot, and people need to be saved,” said Abdul Salam al-Mahmoud in statements to the Reuters news agency.

Likewise, a three-year-old boy was rescued after spending almost 24 hours in the rubble of a building in the city of Malatya, Turkey; little Miran was taken out of the ruins by a team of several rescuers while they received him with kisses because he is alive.

There, they also found a 26-year-old man inside the ruins of another building, who was taken to a nearby hospital while efforts continue to find more survivors.

Another testimony is the one of a woman who gave birth to a baby amid the rubble in Aleppo, Syria; The video that is already running on social media shows a man who helped her with the delivery and immediately takes the newborn baby out and takes the baby to a safe place.

The child’s mother, according to local media, died along with the rest of the family during the earthquake.

On the part of the Christian community, the Now The End Begins site recounted the experience of the missionary  LuAnn from Sarasota, who ministers to the Muslims; She said that although she lives far from the epicenter of the earthquake, she and her team are preparing as a prevention in case the tragedy increases.

“Yes thank God I’m all right.  I’m living in Istanbul and this horrendous earthquake happened in the southeast of Turkey a few hours away from me. But it is turning into quite a disaster for the nation.  Thank you for your prayers and your concern. We have been told to restock our “earthquake bag” in case we too become affected. We just learned Pastor Hakan and his wife in Anitoch went to be with the Lord , leaving behind a young son. We have so few Turkish Pastors. Tragic,”  she said according to Now The End Begins.

Currently the death toll has almost reached 4 thousand deaths.
