BLASPHEMY: Catholic priest claims in video that Christ is ‘Christ is lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer’

The priest’s statements were given through a Facebook video that was intended to support the idea of “inclusion of the LGBT community” with faith and the Bible.

A New York priest is being severely criticized for some “blasphemous” words he uttered during a video.

Rick Walsh, a Paulist priest, offered “a reflection” entitled “We all belong to each other.”

The religious, who leads St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in New York City, also decided to join in the idea of celebrating an “LGBT Pride” mass.

Like many other churches, this “ceremony” could not be held in person, so Walsh shared a reflection on social networks.

“Are they not aware…Christ is a woman…Christ is Black… In Christ, I am also Black,” he started.

“Once you belong to Christ, you belong to all others who belong to Christ as well. Some say that those of us who are LGBTQ members if Christ’s body do not belong to the body of Christ; totally denying our baptism.”

“Are they not aware that we who are LGBTQ are also living now in Christ?”

“That we are Christ. Christ is lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer. In Christ, I am lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer,” he finished

A wave of criticism

It was to be expected that the community of faith would come out in defense of the biblical principles established by God, criticizing the words of the religious.

It should be noted that even the Catholic community was outraged; but of course some consider it wrong to embrace LGBT ideology because it does not conform to God’s original design.

Surprisingly, other Catholic places of worship celebrated “gay pride month” in many ways.

And they were trying to use fragments of the Bible to accommodate that agenda within what God has already claimed is not to their liking.

According to information provided by LifeSite News, some Catholic church members used Psalm 139 incorrectly during a video.

They claimed that homosexual and transgender Catholics could proudly be so because God “made them wonderful.”
