Some believe this is due to the misinformation that many have about the Microsoft co-founder and his long work with foundations for vaccines and public health.

It is true that the Coronavirus has caused thousands of deaths since its arrival; It has also led to an increase in the conspiracy theories surrounding it.
However, it is also true that social networks creates a huge number of these “theories”; and most of them seem to point to Bill Gates.
A company that detects viral disinformation on social media, called VineSight, said pandemic-related “disinformation” increased by 50%.
The numbers are evident from the month of February, when the outbreak began in the United States; And apparently, the Microsoft co-founder has been one of the most affected by this.
Gates was already a target of conspiracies before the outbreak; all due to his “philanthropic” work in favor of vaccines. But the situation worsened when he criticized the president of his nation, when he decided to stop allocating funds to the WHO.
Apart from this, the billionaire had also drawn attention for his effort to find a vaccine. As well as for a controversial talk he had in 2015; in which he warned that the greatest risk to humanity was the possibility of a pandemic capable of decimating the world population.
An easy target
The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is also the second financial sponsor of the World Health Organization; which also feeds theories.
This set of news contributed, without much difficulty, to making the well-known philanthropist an easy or convenient target for believers of conspiracy theory.
VineSight, regarding all of this, detected thousands of retweets and a YouTube video with misinformation about Gates that had a million clicks.
“Since mid-February, we have detected many toxic responses and conspiracy theories saying things like Gates is laundering money and created covid-19 to later kill it,” Gideon Blocq, VineSight chief executive officer and co-founder, told Univision News.
“Misinformation number one is about covid-19 and Gates is at the top of misinformation with conspiracy theories,“ he added.
It should be noted that another of the comments made about the businessman is that his “vaccine” could be related to a global identification mark. Many see it as the mark of the beast and the beginning for a “New World Order”.
Although all this is not very clear yet, all of this may be true. For this reason, it is necessary that the people of God keep their eyes open to what may be moving.
