It recently went viral how President Biden has reacted to what some people call a hate crime against Christians after the shooting at the Covenant Christian school. His attitude has sparked a wave of criticism.

The video shared through social media shows Biden entering the White House, who stops for a moment to listen to a question from one of the TV reporters, who wanted to find out if he shared the same idea as Senator Josh Hawley about the hate crime that this fact represents.
“Do you think Christians were targeted in the Nashville school shooting?” Joe Biden was asked.
To which Biden replied with a smile: “I have no idea”.
The reporter inquired again saying that Senator Hawley defends the idea that Christians were the direct target in the shooting, Biden replied “Well, I probably don’t, then,” chuckling after the remark, and then adding, “No, I’m joking. No, I have no idea.”
Despite the fact that Biden clarified to the press that it was only a small joke, his attitude did not go unnoticed by the public, who were enraged for leaving aside the fact that hatred towards Christians is increasingly evident.
The senator addressed a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas urging them to investigate the shooting at The Covenant School in Nashville, which left six dead, three children and three adults, as a case part of a “hate crime”.
“Federal law explicitly makes acts of violence against individuals based on religious affiliation a hate crime. According to Nashville police, Audrey Hale’s attack was premeditated and ‘targeted’ against this Christian school, its students and employees. Nashville Police Chief John Drake announced yesterday that ‘we have a manifesto, we have some writing that’ going over what pertains to this date, the actual incident,” Hawley said.
Hawley himself commented on Biden’s attitude as “That is totally beneath the dignity of the office of the presidency of the United States,” since his reaction leaves much to be desired.
“This is a guy — this is an office that has the responsibility of leading this country. Children are dead,” Hawley added.
“Biden should be acknowledging the targeting of people of faith. He should be saluting the law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line and saved hundreds of kids, but he should be saying we’re going to get to the bottom of this. We’re going to call it for what it is, a hate crime, and we’re going to do a full investigation to make sure it does not happen again,” he continued.
So far in response to the terrible event, the only thing that Biden has done so far is the order of the flags at half mast in honor of the victims.
For the Trans Resistance Network, an LGBT advocacy group, “the killer saw no other effective way to be seen than to attack the lives of others and it was a double tragedy,” they said in a statement, insinuating that the laws against trans played with the mental health of women and that “the lack of acceptance of the institutions creates hatred that brings consequences.”
