Actor Ben Affleck seeks help in church after allegations of sexual assault

Ben Affleck started his week in church after accusations of inappropriate sexual behavior mounted against him in news headlines.

Affleck, the 45-year-old Justice League actor, arrived at the United Methodist Church in Pacific Palisades, Calif., On Sunday. Actress Jennifer Garner, Affleck’s estranged wife with whom she shares three children, often attends church and arrives separately.

According to Us Weekly, ‘both seemed to be in a good mood.’

Reports come after a hard week for Affleck, when his name appeared in the headlines when Hollywood began to speak out against sexual assault. After Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein was exposed for decades to sexual assault, Affleck joined the conversation to speak against his former frequent collaborator.

However, fans of ‘Lethal Weapon’ actress Hilarie Burton led social networks to remind the world that Affleck played her inappropriately when she was working as a teenager on the MTV  show ‘TRL’ in 2003.

Affleck came to Twitter to apologize to Burton for his behavior.

‘I acted inappropriately with Mrs. Burton and I sincerely apologize,’ he wrote last week.
