A man in the US was walking calmly through a shopping center in Minnesota when security guards stopped him for an unusual reason: the phrase on his shirt, which did not refer precisely to terrorism, racism, discrimination or sexual ideology, it simply had the words “Jesus Saves”.

The event that occurred inside the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota, caused the man and the security guards to start talking about the issue.
The New York Post claimed that some people at the Mall were offended by the T-shirt and its message, so guards detained him, asking him to remove his shirt or leave the place.
Video captured by Twitter user John Mason shows officers telling the man that “Jesus is associated with religion and offending people” while he was explaining that he had not preached to anyone.
Another video shows that when the man asked, “What is wrong with my t-shirt?”, the guard replied “It is religious soliciting. There is no soliciting allowed on mall property, which is private property.”
Underneath the man’s T-shirt, he was wearing another one, so the guards asked him to take it off or leave the mall.
“If you want to shop here you need to take off that shirt,” the guard ordered the man.
However, after a few minutes of words, the man was allowed to stay inside the mall, doing some shopping with his shirt on, according to the UK Daily Mail.
This situation unleashed incredible comments and opinions from believers and users about the treatment suffered by Christians in the US and how the situation looks really incredible within their country.
One Twitter user wrote: “I automatically assumed this was overseas, but it’s right here in America.”
“If I ever go to the Mall of America again, I’m wearing the biggest Jesus shirt I can find,” another user wrote.
There are even intentions from other Christian leaders to take legal action against the mall.
The peaceful attitude of the man who, with great respect, spoke with the guards of the Mall is also noteworthy, affirming with his attitude the message on his shirt.
“Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.” – Matthew 5:11-12.
