Biden assures that God has forsaken Afghanistan, could the Lord really do that?

According to US President Joe Biden, Afghanistan was forgotten by God due to the dire situation they find themselves in with the Taliban-led war.

During a statement last Friday, Biden assured a group of army veterans that there are areas within that country that have been forgotten by God.

“You know, a lot of you here are veterans of — of Iraq and Afghanistan.  As I said, I visited both warzones as a senator and Vice President a lot.  And some God-forsaken areas that you were assigned,” he said.

“A lot of you have been to Afghanistan. I’ve been to every part of it. It’s a God-forsaken place — it’s a God-forsaken place,” Biden said very confidently about his statements. 

They also reported that in that same speech with veterans, the president assured that he “spoke to the guy who invented the insulin,” but according to reports, this claim cannot be possible because those who discovered the drug died around 7 years before Biden was born.

All this eloquence of the president is attributed to the fact that he is about to turn 80 and possibly already in a senile state to hold office.

Now, could God forget about any people, country or person in the entire world?

And the answer is very simple, NO, since even though the people of the world have turned their backs on Him by not believing in Him, not repenting of their sins, idolizing deities and denying that Jesus is the son of God , the Lord continues to remain faithful to his Word.

Since the return of the Taliban, Afghanistan has fallen into a level of decline that is truly worrying for the entire world due to the levels of violence that were generated, also due to the radical restrictions on women, taking away their rights and minimizing them to nothing.

But even more important is that the Taliban and the country itself, being from the Middle East, belong to the list of nations that are under the Islamic regime, known for persecuting those who preach the Gospel of Christ.

Even so, with all the violence, repression, idolatry and blasphemies that day after day are pronounced against Christ, God in his place of merciful and kind Father continues to be faithful for love of His creation. May all these people decide to repent from their sins and put their trust in God.
