The Bible studies expert, Kathryn Brunner, has written an article addressing the risk of pornography among students. Titled “Attention, United States: Pornography Has Become the New Belief,” the article exposes a series of behaviors primarily promoted by progressive individuals showing interest in the Christian faith.

Kathryn, a teacher and mother of school-aged children, reveals that there is a scarcity of conservative voices in public positions in Fairfax County, a situation that has deeply impacted various local policies.
She asserts that, following the November 2023 elections, conservative families in the county were informed of distressing news: candidates with extremely leftist positions assumed several important roles.
“The school board saw several extreme left candidates. Karl Frisch, an LGBTQ activist, was elected with 67% of the votes in his district,” she said.
She continued, “His list of measures includes ensuring that transgender students can use the bathroom of their choice, enforcing the use of preferred pronouns, and ensuring that there is complete pornographic material on the shelves of the school library.”
According to Kathryn, the situation only worsened from there.
“In an act of defiance against the Judeo-Christian moral foundation upon which our republic was conceived, Mr. Frisch decided to be sworn in as vice president of the Fairfax County School Board… placing his hand on a stack of pornographic books and movies full of LGBTQ ideology instead of the Bible,” she explained.
“Is this truly what the 67% of voters in his district wanted? How many of these residents are parents of school-aged children?” she questioned, aiming to prompt reflection.
In her text, Kathryn exposes how her conservative Christian stance leads her to be a dissenter. Referring to the elections and the percentage of conservative Christians who did not vote for the current government, she questions whether they can afford to ignore or not understand what is happening in the country.
She emphasizes that the United States is based on the Bible and expresses concern about the election of a new vice president who, according to her, breaks with this tradition. According to Kathryn, placing a hand on the Bible when assuming a new position represents honesty, integrity, and adherence to a moral ethical code. For her, biblical principles are fundamental in the history of the Judeo-Christian nation and provide guidance for decency, responsibility, and morality.
She mentions that George Washington was sworn in as President of the United States in 1789, showing his devotion to God. In contrast, Karl Frisch, by replacing the Bible with other elements in his oath, declares that the Bible is obsolete and shows a lack of moral foundation. Additionally, he omitted the phrase “So help me God” at the end of his oath, unlike other board members.
She expresses concern about taking an oath with pornography instead of the Bible, as she believes this sets a problematic precedent. She also raises the possibility that this may lead to experimenting with other elements in future oaths.
Regarding Frisch, she argues that he goes beyond what Disney does, as he seeks to infiltrate children’s movies with LGBTQ indoctrination. For her, this demonstrates that Frisch considers LGBTQ ideology as his religion.
She questions whether we should worship this “new god” and warns that, by remaining silent, we are accepting his agenda.

“We must remember the power of God to open the eyes of the blind, including our own, and we should never be content to stand on the sidelines,” she expressed.
“Now is the time to invoke the name of the Lord. We must turn from our wicked ways and speak out against the deluge of darkness sweeping our land through public office,” she concluded.
