Then Tobit prayed: “Praise the eternal God, praise the one who rules.

Then Tobit spoke and wrote down a psalm in praise, saying, Bless the God who lives forever, and bless his kingdom,

And so, the elder Tobit, opening his mouth, blessed the Lord, and he said: "O Lord, you are great in eternity and your kingdom is with all ages.

And Tobias the elder opening his mouth blessed the Lord, and said: Thou art great, O Lord, for ever, and thy kingdom is unto all ages.

And Tobit wrote a prayer for rejoicing, and said, “Blessed is God who lives forever! Blessed is his kingdom!

I said: I will praise the eternal God, who rules forever.

Then Tobit prayed: “Praise the eternal God, praise the one who rules.
