Then Jehovah answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

The LORD answered Job from the whirlwind:

Scatter the arrogant with your wrath, and, when you see all the arrogant, humble them.

Scatter the proud in thy indignation: and behold every arrogant man, and humble him.

That they are like straw before the wind, and like chaff that the storm carries away?

Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind and said:
