The son of Moholi, the son of Musi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.

To the priests by their families, and to the Levites from the twentieth year and upward, by their classes and companies.

This is the people of the Gersonites, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the word of the Lord.

From thirty years old and upward, unto fifty years old, all that go in to fulfil the rites of the tabernacle of the covenant.
