For you have taken away the collateral of your brothers without cause, and stripped them naked of their clothing.
Two women will be grinding at a millstone: one will be taken up, and one will be left behind.
So he said to them: "Be cautious and wary of all avarice. For a person's life is not found in the abundance of the things that he possesses."
When you will have besieged a city for a long time, and you will have encircled it with fortifications, so that you may fight against it, you shall not cut down trees from which one is able to eat, neither shall you cause devastation with axes to the surrounding region. And the sound of singers, and musicians, and flute and trumpet players shall not be heard in you again. And every artisan of every art shall not be found in you again. And the sound of the mill shall not be heard in you again.
