But Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, Listen, Esau my brother is a hairy man and I am a smooth man.

Jacob said to his mother Rebekah, “My brother Esau is a hairy man, but I have smooth skin.

He answered her: "You know that my brother Esau is a hairy man, and I am smooth.

And he answered her: Thou knowest that Esau my brother is a hairy man, and I am smooth.

But Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, “Behold, my brother Esau is a hairy man, and I am a smooth man.

And the first came forth red, all over like a hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.

and thou shalt bring it to thy father, that he may eat, so that he may bless thee before his death.

And he discerned him not, because his hands were hairy, as his brother Esau’s hands: so he blessed him.
