Jehovah, thy hand is lifted up, yet they see not: but they shall see thy zeal for the people, and be put to shame; yea, fire shall devour thine adversaries.


therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder; and the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.


And when I look, there is no man: even among them there is no counsellor, that, when I ask of them, can answer a word.


They know not, neither do they consider: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.


And Jehovah said unto me, Take unto thee yet again the instruments of a foolish shepherd.


Woe to the worthless shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.


But if we shall say, From men; all the people will stone us: for they are persuaded that John was a prophet.


And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.


And Jesus said, For judgment came I into this world, that they that see not may see; and that they that see may become blind.
