Go, eat your bread in joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart, for God has already approved what you do.


I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud and your sins like mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you.


But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, "Take heart; it is I. Do not be afraid."


So his fame spread throughout all Syria, and they brought him all the sick, those afflicted with various diseases and pains, those oppressed by demons, epileptics, and paralytics, and he healed them.


and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.


When Jesus heard this, he marveled and said to those who followed him, "Truly, I tell you, with no one in Israel[4] have I found such faith.


That evening they brought to him many who were oppressed by demons, and he cast out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick.


Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, "Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well." And instantly[4] the woman was made well.


For which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Rise and walk'?


But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins" -- he then said to the paralytic -- "Rise, pick up your bed and go home."


That evening at sundown they brought to him all who were sick or oppressed by demons.


And Jesus stopped and said, "Call him." And they called the blind man, saying to him, "Take heart. Get up; he is calling you."


And he said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease."


for they all saw him and were terrified. But immediately he spoke to them and said, "Take heart; it is I. Do not be afraid."


I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world."


and needed no one to bear witness about man, for he himself knew what was in man.


Jesus said to them, "Children, do you have any fish?" They answered him, "No."


He listened to Paul speaking. And Paul, looking intently at him and seeing that he had faith to be made well,[2]


so that even handkerchiefs or aprons that had touched his skin were carried away to the sick, and their diseases left them and the evil spirits came out of them.


The following night the Lord stood by him and said, "Take courage, for as you have testified to the facts about me in Jerusalem, so you must testify also in Rome."


More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.


But someone will say, "You have faith and I have works." Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
