I have not departed from the commandment of his lips; I have treasured in my bosom the words of his mouth.


Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart; for I am called by your name, O Lord, God of hosts.


But you, mortal, hear what I say to you; do not be rebellious like that rebellious house; open your mouth and eat what I give you.


The spirit lifted me up and bore me away; I went in bitterness in the heat of my spirit, the hand of the Lord being strong upon me.


On account of these the wrath of God is coming on those who are disobedient.


So I took the little scroll from the hand of the angel and ate it; it was sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter.
