Psalm 119:18

I have seen a limit to all perfection, but your commandment is exceedingly broad.


On that day the deaf shall hear the words of a scroll, and out of their gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind shall see.


Then the eyes of those who have sight will not be closed, and the ears of those who have hearing will listen.


Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped;


Though I write for him the multitude of my instructions, they are regarded as a strange thing.


The reason I speak to them in parables is that ‘seeing they do not perceive, and hearing they do not listen, nor do they understand.’


And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father in heaven.


They said to him, “Lord, let our eyes be opened.”


Jesus said, “I came into this world for judgment so that those who do not see may see, and those who do see may become blind.”


to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’


Since the law has only a shadow of the good things to come and not the true form of these realities, it can never, by the same sacrifices that are continually offered year after year, make perfect those who approach.


They offer worship in a sanctuary that is a sketch and shadow of the heavenly one; for Moses, when he was about to erect the tent, was warned, “See that you make everything according to the pattern that was shown you on the mountain.”


Therefore I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire so that you may be rich; and white robes to clothe you and to keep the shame of your nakedness from being seen; and salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see.
