Proverbs 11:29
10 Mga Krus na Reperensya

Then Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, “You have brought trouble on me by making me odious to the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites and the Perizzites; my numbers are few, and if they gather themselves against me and attack me, I shall be destroyed, both I and my household.”

The evil bow down before the good, the wicked at the gates of the righteous.

Those who are greedy for unjust gain make trouble for their households, but those who hate bribes will live.

This also is a grievous ill: just as they came, so shall they go; and what gain do they have from toiling for the wind?

For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind. The standing grain has no heads, it shall yield no meal; if it were to yield, foreigners would devour it.

Now therefore know this and consider what you should do; for evil has been decided against our master and against all his house; he is so ill-natured that no one can speak to him.”

Now the name of the man was Nabal, and the name of his wife Abigail. The woman was clever and beautiful, but the man was surly and mean; he was a Calebite.

About ten days later the Lord struck Nabal, and he died.
