Proverbs 10:14
17 Mga Krus na Reperensya

Let the wise also hear and gain in learning, and the discerning acquire skill,

Whoever winks the eye causes trouble, but the one who rebukes boldly makes peace.

The wise of heart will heed commandments, but a babbling fool will come to ruin.

One who is clever conceals knowledge, but the mind of a fool broadcasts folly.

Those who guard their mouths preserve their lives; those who open wide their lips come to ruin.

The crooked of mind do not prosper, and the perverse of tongue fall into calamity.

The one who lives alone is self-indulgent, showing contempt for all who have sound judgment.

An intelligent mind acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.

The mouths of fools are their ruin, and their lips a snare to themselves.

To get wisdom is to love oneself; to keep understanding is to prosper.

To watch over mouth and tongue is to keep out of trouble.

Give instruction to the wise, and they will become wiser still; teach the righteous and they will gain in learning.

Words spoken by the wise bring them favor, but the lips of fools consume them.

The good person brings good things out of a good treasure, and the evil person brings evil things out of an evil treasure.

“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which someone found and hid; then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

And he said to them, “Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like the master of a household who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.”
