Hebrews 7:18
15 Mga Krus na Reperensya

by this Jesus everyone who believes is set free from all those sins from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses.

Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law.

For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do: by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and to deal with sin, he condemned sin in the flesh,

Brothers and sisters, I give an example from daily life: once a person's will has been ratified, no one adds to it or annuls it.

My point is this: the law, which came four hundred thirty years later, does not annul a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to nullify the promise.

Is the law then opposed to the promises of God? Certainly not! For if a law had been given that could make alive, then righteousness would indeed come through the law.

Tell me, you who desire to be subject to the law, will you not listen to the law?

Now, however, that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and beggarly elemental spirits? How can you want to be enslaved to them again?

for, while physical training is of some value, godliness is valuable in every way, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.

Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings; for it is well for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by regulations about food, which have not benefited those who observe them.

(for the law made nothing perfect); there is, on the other hand, the introduction of a better hope, through which we approach God.
