But Abishai son of Zeruiah came to his aid, and attacked the Philistine and killed him. Then David's men swore to him, “You shall not go out with us to battle any longer, so that you do not quench the lamp of Israel.”


And now, O Lord my God, you have made your servant king in place of my father David, although I am only a little child; I do not know how to go out or come in.


The days of our life are seventy years, or perhaps eighty, if we are strong; even then their span is only toil and trouble; they are soon gone, and we fly away.


Moses was eighty years old and Aaron eighty-three when they spoke to Pharaoh.


But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not trust in me, to show my holiness before the eyes of the Israelites, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land that I have given them.”

When Moses had finished speaking all these words to all Israel,


Moses was one hundred twenty years old when he died; his sight was unimpaired and his vigor had not abated.
