No longer shall they teach one another, or say to each other, “Know the Lord,” for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, says the Lord; for I will forgive their iniquity, and remember their sin no more.


Then all the commanders of the forces, and Johanan son of Kareah and Azariah son of Hoshaiah, and all the people from the least to the greatest, approached


For from the least to the greatest of them, everyone is greedy for unjust gain; and from prophet to priest, everyone deals falsely.


Therefore I will give their wives to others and their fields to conquerors, because from the least to the greatest everyone is greedy for unjust gain; from prophet to priest everyone deals falsely.


And the people of Nineveh believed God; they proclaimed a fast, and everyone, great and small, put on sackcloth.


When the crowds saw what Paul had done, they shouted in the Lycaonian language, “The gods have come down to us in human form!”


They were expecting him to swell up or drop dead, but after they had waited a long time and saw that nothing unusual had happened to him, they changed their minds and began to say that he was a god.


but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.


For you gladly put up with fools, being wise yourselves!


We must no longer be children, tossed to and fro and blown about by every wind of doctrine, by people's trickery, by their craftiness in deceitful scheming.


Even so, many will follow their licentious ways, and because of these teachers the way of truth will be maligned.


One of its heads seemed to have received a death-blow, but its mortal wound had been healed. In amazement the whole earth followed the beast.
