I will tell of the decree of the Lord: He said to me, “You are my son; today I have begotten you.


After he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this; and they believed the scripture and the word that Jesus had spoken.


But God raised him from the dead;


As to his raising him from the dead, no more to return to corruption, he has spoken in this way, ‘I will give you the holy promises made to David.’


but he whom God raised up experienced no corruption.


But God raised him up, having freed him from death, because it was impossible for him to be held in its power.


This Jesus God raised up, and of that all of us are witnesses.


and immediately he began to proclaim Jesus in the synagogues, saying, “He is the Son of God.”


So also Christ did not glorify himself in becoming a high priest, but was appointed by the one who said to him, “You are my Son, today I have begotten you”;
