1 Samuel 24:6
11 Mga Krus na Reperensya

David said to him, “Were you not afraid to lift your hand to destroy the Lord's anointed?”

But afterward, David was stricken to the heart because he had numbered the people. David said to the Lord, “I have sinned greatly in what I have done. But now, O Lord, I pray you, take away the guilt of your servant; for I have done very foolishly.”

But Naboth said to Ahab, “The Lord forbid that I should give you my ancestral inheritance.”

But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them.

See that none of you repays evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to all.

Here I am; testify against me before the Lord and before his anointed. Whose ox have I taken? Or whose donkey have I taken? Or whom have I defrauded? Whom have I oppressed? Or from whose hand have I taken a bribe to blind my eyes with it? Testify against me and I will restore it to you.”

So David scolded his men severely and did not permit them to attack Saul. Then Saul got up and left the cave, and went on his way.
