Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron, and said to them, “This time I have sinned; the Lord is in the right, and I and my people are in the wrong.

Look at the proud! Their spirit is not right in them, but the righteous live by their faith.


for they loved human glory more than the glory that comes from God.


How can you believe when you accept glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the one who alone is God?

So Samuel turned back after Saul; and Saul worshiped the Lord.


Then Saul said, “I have done wrong; come back, my son David, for I will never harm you again, because my life was precious in your sight today; I have been a fool, and have made a great mistake.”
