Then he found another man and said, “Strike me!” So the man hit him, striking and wounding him.


Then he quickly took the bandage away from his eyes. The king of Israel recognized him as one of the prophets.


The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “I will disguise myself and go into battle, but you wear your robes.” So the king of Israel disguised himself and went into battle.


“And whenever you fast, do not look dismal, like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces so as to show others that they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward.
