23 who, being verbally abused, did not return verbal insults, when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;

because He has appointed a day in which He is going to judge the world in righteousness by a Man whom He appointed, having given proof to all, by raising Him from the dead."


Now, Lord, look upon their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word,


And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit."


Then Saul, still breathing murderous threats against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest


But according to your hardness and impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation, and of the righteous judgment of God,


And masters, do the same things towards them, giving up threatening, knowing that your own Master is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.


which is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, so that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, on behalf of which you also suffer;


For which cause I also suffer these things; but I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I have been persuaded that He is able to guard that which I have committed to Him until that Day.


Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not only to me, but also to all those who have loved His appearing.


For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you be weary and discouraged in your souls.


not rendering evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called for this purpose, that you may inherit a blessing.


Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God entrust their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.


And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
