Then went one of the twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot, to the chief priests,


And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.


And Jesus said to the chief priests, and magistrates of the temple, and the ancients, that were come unto him: Are ye come out, as it were against a thief, with swords and clubs?


AND as they were speaking to the people, the priests, and the officer of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,


Now when the officer of the temple and the chief priests heard these words, they were in doubt concerning them, what would come to pass.


Then went the officer with the ministers, and brought them without violence; for they feared the people, lest they should be stoned.
