So Ahab sent to all the Israelites, and assembled the prophets at Mount Carmel.


So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; there he bowed himself down upon the earth and put his face between his knees.


From there he went on to Mount Carmel, and then returned to Samaria.


out of the tribe of Asher: Mashal with its pasture lands, Abdon with its pasture lands,


Your head crowns you like Carmel, and your flowing locks are like purple; a king is held captive in the tresses.


The land mourns and languishes; Lebanon is confounded and withers away; Sharon is like a desert; and Bashan and Carmel shake off their leaves.
