"But when the farmers saw the son, they said among themselves, 'This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, and let us gain possession of his inheritance.'
Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those farmers?"
But Jesus said to him, "Friend, why have you come?" Then they came and laid hands on Jesus and seized Him.
And those having seized Jesus led Him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were gathered together.
Then the detachment of soldiers and the captain and the attendants of the Jews arrested Jesus and bound Him.
Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you took, and by lawless hands, nailing Him to a cross, you killed Him;
let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by this name this man stands here before you whole.
The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you murdered by hanging upon a cross.
Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who foretold about the coming of the Righteous One, of whom you have now become betrayers and murderers,
You have condemned; you have murdered the just. He does not resist you.
