But Jesus, having summoned them, said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.
But when Jesus saw this, He was indignant and said to them, "Allow the little children come to Me, do not hinder them; for of such is the kingdom of God.
And having heard this, the ten began to be indignant with James and John.
But the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the crowd, "There are six days in which one should work; therefore come and be healed on them, and not on the Sabbath day."
Love is patient, love is kind; love does not envy; love does not boast, is not puffed up;
doing nothing according to selfish ambition or conceit, but with humility, regarding one another as being better than yourselves.
But if you have bitter jealousy and strife in your heart, do not boast and lie against the truth.
Likewise, younger people, subject yourselves to the elders. And all of you be subject to one another, and be clothed with humility, because "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."
