"See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven.


And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.


And I say to you that many shall come from east and west, and recline to eat with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven;


For what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his soul?


But God said to him, 'You fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have prepared?'


and longing to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table. And even the dogs came and would lick his sores.


No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, He who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.


Now there was reclining on Jesus' bosom one of His disciples, the one whom Jesus loved.


Then Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also had reclined on His chest at the supper, and said, "Lord, who is the one who betrays You?"


Are they not all ministering spirits being sent out to minister for the sake of those who are about to inherit salvation?


Therefore since the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same things, in order that through death He might destroy the one having the power of death, that is, the devil,


For the sun arose with burning heat and withered the grass, and its flower fell off, and its beautiful appearance perished. So the rich man also shall fade away in his pursuits.
