Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. Indeed the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."


And He said to them, "Which of you shall have a friend, and go to him at midnight and say to him, 'Friend, lend me three loaves;


Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that these were offenders more than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem?


Then He said to them, "Why do you sleep? Rise up and pray, lest you enter into temptation."


But those on the rock are they that, whenever they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of testing fall away.


I do not ask that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.


No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not permit you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation, He will also make the way out, so as for you to be able to bear it.


forbearing one another and forgiving yourselves, if anyone should have a complaint against any; just as Christ forgave you, so you also do.


But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and will guard you from the evil one.


And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen!


For judgment is without mercy to the one who does not show mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.


Fear none of those things which you are about to suffer. Behold indeed, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, so that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.


Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those that dwell upon the earth.
