But I say to you, that whoever looks at a woman in order to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Then has that which is good become death to me? Certainly not! But sin, that it might appear sin, was producing death in me through that which is good, so that sin through the commandment might become exceedingly sinful.

but encourage yourselves every day, while it is called "Today," lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Then lust, when it conceives, gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
