peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it.


And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.


in the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.


and said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my God: for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens.


He hath cast me into the mire, And I am become like dust and ashes.


How much less in them that dwell in houses of clay, Whose foundation is in the dust, Which are crushed before the moth?


LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! Or the son of man, that thou makest account of him!


What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him?

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
