And it shall be to you as a sign on your hand and as a memorial between your eyes, that the law of the Lord may be in your mouth. For with a strong hand the Lord has brought you out of Egypt.


Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart.


and on the seventh day the priest shall examine the disease. If the itch has not spread, and there is in it no yellow hair, and the itch appears to be no deeper than the skin,


And behold, a woman who had suffered from a discharge of blood for twelve years came up behind him and touched the fringe of his garment,


And he said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God.


who devour widows’ houses and for a pretense make long prayers. They will receive the greater condemnation.”


for they loved the glory that comes from man more than the glory that comes from God.


How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?


The one who speaks on his own authority seeks his own glory; but the one who seeks the glory of him who sent him is true, and in him there is no falsehood.


“You shall therefore lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.


“You shall make yourself tassels on the four corners of the garment with which you cover yourself.

Some indeed preach Christ from envy and rivalry, but others from good will.


Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.
