Then a demon-oppressed man who was blind and mute was brought to him, and he healed him, so that the man spoke and saw.


said, “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he has seizures and he suffers terribly. For often he falls into the fire, and often into the water.


As they were going away, behold, a demon-oppressed man who was mute was brought to him.


And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them.


and implored him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter is at the point of death. Come and lay your hands on her, so that she may be made well and live.”


Now the woman was a Gentile, a Syrophoenician by birth. And she begged him to cast the demon out of her daughter.


And he asked them, “What are you arguing about with them?”


And whenever it seizes him, it throws him down, and he foams and grinds his teeth and becomes rigid. So I asked your disciples to cast it out, and they were not able.”


And when Jesus saw that a crowd came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”


Now he was casting out a demon that was mute. When the demon had gone out, the mute man spoke, and the people marveled.


And behold, a man from the crowd cried out, “Teacher, I beg you to look at my son, for he is my only child.


When this man heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he went to him and asked him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death.
