transgressing, and denying the Lord, and turning back from following our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart lying words.


The lions have roared against him; they have roared loudly. They have made his land a waste; his cities are in ruins, without inhabitant.


“They shall roar together like lions; they shall growl like lions’ cubs.


When she carried on her whoring so openly and flaunted her nakedness, I turned in disgust from her, as I had turned in disgust from her sister.


Every evil of theirs is in Gilgal; there I began to hate them. Because of the wickedness of their deeds I will drive them out of my house. I will love them no more; all their princes are rebels.

But lately my people have risen up as an enemy; you strip the rich robe from those who pass by trustingly with no thought of war.


In one month I destroyed the three shepherds. But I became impatient with them, and they also detested me.
