And Aaron and his sons shall use them when they shall go in to the tabernacle of the testimony, or when they approach the altar to minister in the sanctuary: lest being guilty of iniquity they die. It shall be a law for ever to Aaron, and to his seed after him.

And when thou hast taken of the blood, that is upon the altar, and of the oil of unction, thou shalt sprinkle Aaron and his vesture, his sons and their vestments. And after they and their vestments are consecrated,

Wherewith Aaron was consecrated and his sons; and they shall fall to Aaron's share and his sons' by a perpetual right from the children of Israel: because they are the choicest and the beginnings of their peace-victims which they offer to the Lord.

And the holy vesture, which Aaron shall use, his sons shall have after him: that they may be anointed, and their hands consecrated in it.

Thou shalt put on them the holy vestments, that they may minister to me: and that the unction of them may prosper to an everlasting priesthood.

So in the first month of the second year, the first day of the month, the tabernacle was set up.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck; and the yoke shall putrify at the presence of the oil.

The high priest, that is to say, the priest, is the greatest among his brethren, upon whose head the oil of unction hath been poured; and whose hands have been consecrated for the priesthood; and who hath been vested with the holy vestments, he shall not uncover his head: he shall not rend his garments.

And when the priest hath lifted them up with the loaves of the first-fruits before the Lord, they shall fall to his use.
