Numbers 11:5
7 Marejeleo ya Msalaba

And the Lord thundered from heaven, and the highest gave his voice: hail and coals of fire.

And the children of Israel said to them: Would to God we had died by the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt, when we sat over the flesh pots, and ate bread to the full. Why have you brought us into this desert, that you might destroy all the multitude with famine?

And the daughter of Sion shall be left as a covert in a vineyard, and as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, and as a city that is laid waste.

Saying: No, but we will go into the land of Egypt, where we shall see no war nor hear the sound of the trumpet nor suffer hunger; and there we will dwell.

But since we left off to offer sacrifice to the queen of heaven and to pour out drink-offerings to her, we have wanted all things and have been consumed by the sword and by famine.

And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron, saying:

Whose end is destruction; whose God is their belly; and whose glory is in their shame; who mind earthly things.
