And when Abraham prayed, God healed Abimelech and his wife, and his handmaids: and they bore children:


Did not he say to me: She is my sister; and she say: He is my brother? In the simplicity of my heart, and cleanness of my hands, have I done this.


And said to the servant: Who is that man who cometh towards us along the field? And he said to her: That man is my master. But she quickly took Her cloak, and covered herself.


He that shall touch this man's wife shall surely be put to death.


He that loveth correction, loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is foolish.


As an earring of gold and a bright pearl, so is he that reproveth the wise, and the obedient ear.


Open rebuke is better than hidden love.


And the shipmaster came to him, and said to him: Why art thou fast asleep? rise up, call upon thy God, if so be that God will think of us, that we may not perish.


Such as I love, I rebuke and chastise. Be zealous therefore, and do penance.
